Head Coach Ronald W. Gercke is one of the few Level 5 (ASCA Certification ) certified USS coaches in Arizona. This represents the highest level of professional certification, along with concurrent certification in CPR, First Aid, and Safety Training. Ron has over thirty years of USS coaching experience and has achieved an outstanding record of excellence and accomplishment.
Ron brings a unique cheerful and compassionate personality to the pool every day, and few if any have ever seen Ron without a smile or heard an unkind word. Coach Gercke blends his uplifting personal approach with his technical expertise to produce some of the most motivated and successful swimmers in the valley.
While some clubs are known for their mileage - AFOX is known for its technical approach to all four strokes, dives, turns, and breakouts. AFOX swimmers excel in sprints, IM, and distance events.
