DMHS Men's Swim Team adds
strong Freshman class.
While the Arizona Republic has dubbed the DMHS
women freshman as the "Fab Four" the DMHS freshman men are flying
under the radar. The DMHS Wolves freshman men of 2004 feature four United
States Swimming standouts as well.
David Russell -
United States Swimming 2004 Arizona State Champion 400 Individual Medley (13-14)
long course and Southwest Sectional Qualifier. David like his brother who
graduated in 2002 brings not only an age group state winning Individual
medly but is consistently ranked one of the top breast strokers in Arizona for
his age bracket in USS Swimming
Sam Weinstein -
United States Swimming 2004 Arizona State Champion 400 freestyle, and 200
Butterfly (13-14) long course and Southwest Sectional Qualifier.
Devon Judge - Devon
returns to the pool to compete for DMHS after a 2 year hiatus - former USS age
group standout in the backstroke and middle distance, Devon was ranked top 16 in
the nation as a 10 and under swimmer. He is expected to bring a strong
backstroke to the DMHS relay. Stuart
Moty - consistently ranked in the top 10 in USS Arizona swimming for his
age group, Stuart is expected to add depth and strength to the team.
Stuart also is a top ranked triathelete for his age. Returning
for the men - sophmore Ryan Blumenfurth is also a
USS swimming standout in the butterfly and backstroke.
